About Me – David Park | Mortgage Broker at Edge Home Finance

Trusted by homebuyers, homeowners, real estate investors—and the agents who represent them—across Texas.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I now call Argyle home, where I live with my wife and our two daughters. Family is everything to me, and a lot of what I do—both personally and professionally—comes back to helping people build a stronger future through real estate.

When I’m not helping clients secure financing, you’ll find me behind a camera as I love photography, coaching my daughter’s basketball team, practicing jiu-jitsu, or spending time with friends and family.

I’ve been in the mortgage industry for over two decades, and I’ve seen it all—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. From the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, to the market shifts in the early 2010s, to the historic low-rate environment in 2020, I’ve helped clients navigate every kind of market. Because of that, I don’t just focus on getting loans approved—I focus on making sure you’re making the right move.

Before becoming an independent mortgage broker, I helped build and grow mortgage divisions at companies like Bank of America, loanDepot, and SoFi. Today, I do things differently. I partner with over 100+ lenders to shop the market on your behalf—giving you access to better rates, more flexible programs, and solutions most retail banks simply can’t offer.

I also invest in real estate myself, which means I understand deals beyond the surface level. Whether it’s DSCR loans, fix-and-flip projects, hard money, or new construction, I look at every scenario through both a lender’s and an investor’s lens—so you get advice that’s strategic, not just transactional.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help you make smart, confident decisions with your money and your future. Whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing, or scaling a real estate portfolio, I’m here to help you find the right path—and execute it the right way.
